South Turkey
On the morning of April 28, 2025, there was a power outage in Spain, Portugal, Andorra, France and Belgium. All electrical devices, including telecommunications networks and traffic lights, are not working at the moment. Half an hour ago, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced that a state of emergency had been declared throughout the country. 136 million people have not had access to electricity for about 13 hours.

According to the news reported by Turkish Media, Western Europe is said to be without electricity for about a week. Soldiers have taken to the streets in France. People are looting markets to obtain foods that cannot be kept in refrigerators such as pasta, rice and water.

Where are you seeing a week? From the article you linked to

By Monday afternoon, Red Eléctrica stated that it had begun gradually restoring power in both the north and south of Spain. However, the process of getting everyone back on the grid might take between 6 and ten hours for technical reasons, it added.

I don't know who the Turkish Media you're referring to are, but the articles linked said the blackout occurred on Monday. As for looting?😵‍💫 A few hours without power isn't going to get the populous all worked up.😑 I've been through numerous power outages--most of them 3-4 days long, a few 2+ weeks long. None of my neighbors looted or rioted.

Sounds like someone is stretching the truth a bit.

You and the Turkish media give yourselves a ****ing regulation.

You need serious professionals.

I’m in Portugal and was affected by the outage. There has been no reports of looting whatsoever in the news here. Everyone behaved in a civilised manner.
Also, things are pretty much back to the normal now. A few places without electricity, but should be all sorted in a few more hours
