Starting tomorrow (May 1), MobileMe users should start receiving an e-mail allowing them to move just their MobileMe e-mail to iCloud once MobileMe shuts down on June 30. The e-mail will explain their options to move their entire account to iCloud if they meet the system requirements or give them the option to just move their e-mail account to iCloud if they don't meet iCoud's system requirements. It will recommend that they back-up their MobileMe data before the switch, even if they are just moving their e-mail. They will have to agree to iCloud's terms and conditions. They will continue accessing their e-mail through MobileMe until June 30, at which point it will switch to iCloud. It seems at this point that following the instructions in the e-mail may be necessary to continue uninterrupted e-mail service.
