GTA IV on Retina MacBook Pro 15'' Base

Hello,
I've read some users are experiencing lag on Retina MacBook pros.. My question is will it lag if I play GTA 4 medium settings on base retina MBP? Will the 1 GB dedicated graphic card handle it properly or there will be a lag because of retina display or something. ( I don't know much about resolution) I know GTA 4 is already not optimised properly for windows .. That's why I'm concerned. People who have already got their RMBP and if you have GTA 4, could you please tell how well it handles?

The only lag I have seen reported was when browsing via Safari.

From what I've heard, GTA IV has problems with NVIDIA's 600 series altogether, not just the retina MacBook Pro. We'll see if there is some hacks, workarounds, or a game update eventually. However, Apple has not released the Boot Camp drivers for the retina MacBook Pro yet, so that's yet to be seen as well.
