I've ordered a MacBook Pro Retina scheduled for delivery around July 20th. It's replacing my 2009 MBP 13 inch.

Question: What should I do to prepare MBP 13 for resale?

I know with the iPhone or iPad, I can reset and wipe out all my personal data in settings but have no idea how to do it on a Mac.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I also want to sell my 2009 MacBook Pro - is there a way to sell it with Lion?
The MBP shipped with SL and was upgraded to Lion last year, but this upgrade only is for one user or (the buyer)?

Agree w/the previous poster -- you definitely want to wipe your drive completely (ctrl + r at boot), then do Lion Internet recovery.

If you plan on selling via eBay, I'd recommend taking a bunch of high quality photos of the machine, particularly if it's in good condition. I just prepped mine for sale and took about 30 or so pics with a dslr to show every detail I could.
