Hi,

Since the 13in MBP has only the one audio in/out port...

I know my IPhone headset/mic will work in it..

however I've been unable to find if there is a splitter available so I can plug in a mic and speakers. A kind of "y" cable for it that separates the mic/speakers.

The 15" has both an in and an out so I'd like to replicate that on the 13.

Would be appreciated if anyone is aware of a splitter cable.

Thanks.. Jim

Im in the same situation and as far as I am aware you have to use a USB line in adapter for the mic if you are using the audio out through the headphone jack.

Well I'm not aware of any splitters for this off hand it should be physically possible. If the iphone headset can support both mic and headphones then there should be a way to split those connections. I'll do some research on this and see what I can dig up.
