I'm deciding to buy this Samsung 23inch 1080p Monitor so I can hook up with 13inch Macbook Pro. I know the resolution of the Macbook Pro is 1280-by-800 but the question will it work with the 1080p Monitor? Will it display my Macbook clearly with the increased resolution?

The 1920x1080 Samsung monitor will either mirror the MBP's display, which is 1280x900, or you can extend your desktop to the Samsung by setting the Samsung's resolution to 1920x1080.

Graphics and video support

NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory3
Dual display and video mirroring: Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display and up to 2560 by 1600 pixels on an external display, both at millions of colors
