So I’ve been having issues with the 13 PM retaining a TMo 5GUC connection and constantly switching to SA 5G and LTE. I’ve been researching the stats in Field Test Mode. I see I’m connected to 5GUC by looking at Band 41 and on NSA or non-standalone 5G Constantine that is active. But I also see that the 5G receiving antennas aren’t even active. This is why I’m thinking the device is bad. Does anyone know anything about these stats?

I am experiencing the same issues with 5GUC - It seems like i'm always on the fringe - Wife's phone does the same thing. We have to resort to turning off 5G entirely as there seems to be no way to just disable 5GUC.

Was hoping a software update would fix it - seems like the phone is trying too hard to stay connected to 5GUC even though it could fall back to a much stronger network.

Have you found any sort of resolution?

I haven’t found one yet. When the 12PM came out last year, there was a switch to turn on Standalone 5G without the UC but that was removed. It needs to come back. Otherwise you have to just turn in LTE.

It’s funny because the same signal on 5G as UC but can’t hold the UC connection. I dunno. Makes no sense.

Sorry OP can’t answer your question specifically but I’ve never had good luck stability with T-Mobile 5G. I use LTE all the time now. Was same with the 12 PM. When on 5G sometimes it hangs and gets stuck loading images etc. so gave up. Using the T-Mobile R sim.
