14.2 Bluetooth lack of sound unless I do trick

I have had this issue since 14.0 on my iPhone XR and it’s STILL not fixed in 14.2! Using my Anker Bluetooth ear pod things, I turn on the ear pods and wait for it to say connected and the iPhone screen shows connected. Go into Music app and try to plan anything (radio or songs) and I hear nothing. Go back out into Safari and start a random YouTube clip and I hear audio. Go back to Music and now I can listen to music!

so I have to “prime the pump” so to speak to get any audio of of the ear buds.

How is this not considered a major bug worth fixing? And yes, I started reporting it back in 14.0.

I have a similar problem since iOS14.2, i connect to a BT device such as my car or my airpods and it plays for a few seconds, then stops. I then have to keep trying to play music or close Spotify and then re open to get it to play. Im using an iphone 12 pro.
