14.5rc1 breaks HomePods as default speakers [fixed...?]

Just a heads up. No amount of restarting or resetting sound preferences fixes it. It can play to regular TV speakers or any combination of my other homepods, but if I try to set my TV HomePod pair as default nothing works. No sounds, volume up and down gets wonky, YouTube breaks with a "Send Report" button. Sometimes you can get bits of sounds.

Everything has been perfect through betas so this is worrying.

EDIT: Resetting HomePods seems to have fixed it for now.

Whilst the speakers now work, I often get one dropping out for a second at the start of each YouTube video, have YouTube videos freeze before they begin and also the UI sounds are now completely gone again.
