My wife’s 11Pro is on 14.5.1 - she had a notification to update a few days ago but dismissed it. Now we cannot get the update. General About says 14.5.1, Software Update says it’s up to date. Tried restarting it, no change.
Anyone else seen this or any ideas?

Thanks

Things to try...
1) Look to make sure the update hasn't already downloaded and is waiting on her to accept terms and install. This is probably the case if the red badge has disappeared.
2) Try turning WiFi off and back on
3) Reset Network settings

1) It’s not there - I’ve checked.
2) no change
3) as above no change…

Either just check iTunes or if needed download the ipsw and option-click and install that.

I had an iPad Air 3 returned to me today which was running 13.3. It kept reporting that the OS was up to date, but after a few tries of refreshing the software update page, 14.6 showed up.

Seeing the same thing here… upgrading my mothers phone from an 8 to a 12, and can’t restore until the update comes back.

Same problem here! The update showed up as downloaded ready for install. Since I didn’t have enough battery left I put off doing the install. Coming back the update was briefly there and then disappeared! Says iPad is up to date at 14.5.1. I’ve rebooted the iPad, turned WiFi on and off, airplane mode on and off, and so on. No joy. That update is gone. What should I try next?

I just got a new phone today and it wont updated. Called Apple Care and 14.6 has been pulled and "developers are working on it"..."check back later". It stinks because my back-ups are on 14.6 so I cannot transfer data over to 14.5.1.

The more complex iOS get, the more it tends to fail in the oddest of manners. Hardware changes become an issue leaving older but functioning iphones unsupported. Natural entropic process. Unfortunately, consumers are left in the lurch because developers are not as smart as they think they are. Like I have said, apple should keep the previous version on line and able to be restored in an itunes selection - new or pervious. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, the previous version is not facilitated. Always waiting for the next fix, are we not. But it is just a one off glitch.
