14 Day Return?

If you pre-ordered your phone from Apple at 3AM when they first opened up pre-orders, and it was delivered on Friday the 25th, does the 14 day return policy apply from when it was received? And is it correct that Apple doesn't have a return fee? I can just return it to an Apple store?

EDIT: Looks like I should have just researched this myself as I found all the answers on Apple's website. In case anyone else was interested:

• You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
• Only items that have been purchased directly from Apple, either through the Apple Online Store or at an Apple Retail Store, can be returned to Apple. Apple products purchased through other retailers must be returned in accordance with their respective returns and refunds policy.
• Please ensure that the item you're returning is repackaged with all the cords, adapters and documentation that were included when you received it.
