I have the 14" M1 Max, 64GB Ram, 10 Cores and I have just recently downloaded New World to play. It's the first game I've played since I quit World of Warcraft back in 2009. I am amazed at how well this Mac performs with max settings using Nvidia's GeForce Now, not a single fan runs.

I played for almost 2 hours and the battery only dropped 13% from a full charge.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am thrilled with not just the performance but how cool it remains when performing extensive gameplay or workloads.

Additionally, I normally keep Word, Excel, Chrome, Safari and Illustrator open 60% of my day. My last laptop (2018 MBP 15" decked out) would lose 80% battery in under 2.5 hours, and now I don't even hit 20% battery life under the same operation.

I did charge from 0 as well and hit 62% within 28 minutes. That is incredible!

Anyone else having a similar experience?

You could get the same experience on M1 MacBook Air… or is your post supposed zo be satirical?
