iPhone 16 Pro 14 Pro/ 15 Pro / 16 Pro frame coating issues

Hello,

I had a black 14 Pro and the paint came off while using the UAG Metropolis case since day one. My 15 pro got scratched by falling down inside a nudient case (no big edges a.s.o)

Since the iPhone 15 pro was fined despite the drop, do you think I can use a Metropolis case again? It is sitting snug but coming off the phone when the back of the phone is on my leg side in the pocket. I do not want the same stuff to happen to the 16 pro like I had with the 14 pro but do not want to use a Nudient case again (those are my go to choices)

What do you think? Was the iPhone 14 Pro just that bad with its coating?

Coating sucks on my 15 PM Natural. Lock button started fading. Always in a Nomad Leather Case. Never had coating issues since the iPhone 5 lol

Disappointed with the blue titanium finish on my 15PM. 5 months old with a few marks now, scuffed from a drop whilst in an Apple silicone case and there’s a few small specs of paint missing here and there.

At home I use it caseless and where I grip it the finish is fading/rubbing off below the power button.

I had a 14 PM for almost 2 years and when I traded in for a new 16 PM it was as good as brand new. There is no paint in an iPhone by the way.

Can you show us some pictures ? Again, there is no paint whatsoever on a titanium iPhone (or event the old 14 PM).
