Buying it from seappa for around 600 after taxes as opposed to a 16 for 800 with a possible 256 gb which would be huge if apple upgrades the base model. I have a8a and it's good I just miss my apple watch ultra.

Makes sense or just wait till end of the month? I prefer Android os but the apple watch is 👍.

Best time to buy an iPhone is right before the new iOS version with all its bugs drops.

Yes. Buy it now and keep it on iOS 17 until at least Spring.

If you Apple Intelligence then you need to get at least a 15 Pro, if you don’t care for AI then 14 Pro should be perfect.
At this point if you are getting a Pro iPhone I would avoid anything with less than 8GB RAM from a longevity perspective.

Latest and greatest iphone with lightning and w/o AI. It’s your choice.

Lots of discussion on the lack of RAM for AI is not very useful.
8GB will use cloud servers to run AI.

Wait till iPhone 17 next year for the 12GB AI optimized phone.....

No, once you’re 24 months past, the old Pro gets superseded by the new regular model.

You wouldn’t want an iPhone 13 Pro instead of iPhone 15 because of the lack of DI and 48MP sensor. You’re not going to want 14 Pro/Max instead of 16 due to lack of 8GB RAM and buttons. Apple software locks the camera and other features so n-2 hardware generally isn’t worth it.
