R-MBP: Weird issues using Safari 6 : Pics Attached!

Two issues:

1) As I'm typing, the words seems to disappear and then re-appear, and then disappear again. I hope that makes sense. Also, the cursor seems to stutter a lot on Safari. This does not happen on Chrome or Firefox [ Pic attached to better illustrate ]

2) I don't know how to describe it, so see the picture!

I did a clean install of ML after upgrading and have reset the PRAM.

If I refresh, it's fine...until it happens again!!

Any recommendations ?

Have you installed any Safari extensions, that may cause the issue. When you did the clean install did you try it before restoring any of your information (if you restored).

No extensions and no restore from backup. I installed everything from scratch.

Like I said, I have no issues with FF or Chrome... It's only Safari! :(

Maybe I should try and re-install Safari..
 
Weird I've seen this on my machine too. I did a clean install of Mountain Lion as well. It bugs me out. One time I had to just quit and restart safari and it came back fine. Keep the thread updated with any new findings or if it comes back.
 
I get these issues too, seemingly randomly. Only happens sometimes, but I can't pinpoint what actually causes it.
 
Update:

Problem still persists... :(

Will try and re-install Safari and post back my findings!

Seems like I can't delete [ to re-install ] Safari as *it's required by Mac OS* per the message that popped up when I tried!

So, I hope Apple will post an update to fix this. Chrome and FF it is, till then!

I'm pretty sure that this is an issue with the integrated graphics (which is why you do not see it in other browsers as they run on discrete graphics). To test this, you can go into System Preferences -> Energy Saver and un-tick "Automatic Graphics Switching". Then restart Safari.

I have gfxCardStatus installed and did the test with the integrated [ HD4000 ] turned off. The result was/is the same!
 
I have this issue (or something very similar). For me, it happens with both integrated and discrete. If I restart the computer, the problem goes away, but it comes back the first time the computer switches from integrated to discrete and then back to integrated - e.g., using aperture and then quitting. Once it happens, it persists even if I switch back to discrete. This is my second rMBP and it is getting returned for an unrelated issue. I hope my third one doesn't have this issue.
 
I believe it's a bug in Safari, nothing wrong with the computer itself. I do not have these issues with Chrome and Firefox thus eliminating a hardware problem.

Hopefully, there will be a fix soon to address this!

Would like to hear from cMBP users too!!
 
I have the same issues in safari. Animated GIFs also act up sometimes on the initial load periodically.
 
Same issue – any reports of this going away after a replacement MacBook?

I'd like to be sure this is a hardware problem before sending my laptop to repair. Not experiencing this in Chrome like it has been noted.
 
I have the 2012 cMBP with 10.8.1 and I too have this issue. Its not that bothersome and I am guessing its a bug waiting to be fixed.
