256GB Crucial M4 in mid 2009 13" MBP

Just picked up a 256GB Crucial M4 from Fry's today. I've been looking at upgrading for a while now, and I'd been watching the prices of the 256GB and 512GB Crucial, Samsung and Plextor models for a while. I would have preferred the Samsung 830, but it's $45 more expensive right now.

Anyway, everything feels quite a bit quicker, and I haven't had any issues that I've seen reported with this drive and my vintage MacBook. I ran a few benchmarks and I understand that I'm limited by SATA II, but are these speeds normal(see attachment)? I enabled TRIM as well. Should I do anything else?

For SATA II yes.
If you put it in a Mac with SATA III, it can go up to 210 write, 510 read.
But that should be a great jump from HDD to SSD.

Yeah, you've got SATA III so you're seeing much higher read speeds. I knew I wouldn't be seeing the full capability of the drive in my MBP, I just wanted to make sure it was normal.
