I have tested 4 MacBook Pro 15,4 inch (2010, 2011, 2012 classic and Retina) with :

This set a Quad Core Core i7 with HyperThreading CPU at 50% load (100% load for MacBook Pro 2010, only Dual Core).
I run this test four one hour.
Ambiant temps : 22 to 23°C
Ambiant noise level : 32 dB(A) so very quiet room
iStat for temp and fan speed
Velleman DVM1326 for sound level


MacBook Pro Retina Core i7 2,3 GHz 2012 :
CPU : - °C
CPU Heatsink : 53°C
Enclosure base : 32°C
Enclosure base 2 : 32°C
Enclosure base 3 : 31°C
GPU : 61°C
Heatsink B : 50°C

Right fan : 3290 to 3363 rpm
Left fan : 3504 to 3680 rpm

Noise level at 50 cm (+/- head position facing the screen) : 32,7 à 33,1 dB(A)


MacBook Pro Core i7 2,6 GHz 2012 :
CPU : - °C
CPU Heatsink : 52°C to 50°C
Enclosure base : 32°C to 28°C
Enclosure base 2 : 32°C to 28°C
Enclosure base 3 : 31°C to 28°C
GPU : 60°C to 61°C
Heatsink B : 57°C

Right fan : 4889 to 5350 rpm (cycling between booth about each 5 minutes)
Left fan : 4885 to 5350 rpm (same)

Noise level at 50 cm (+/- head position facing the screen) : 37,2 à 38,6 dB(A)


MacBook Pro Core i7 2,2 GHz 2011 :
CPU : 86°C
CPU Heatsink : 55°C
Enclosure base : 27°C
Enclosure base 2 : 27°C
