Unlocked iPhone 5?

How long do you guys think it will take for Apple to have unlocked versions of the iPhone 5 available? If memory serves me well, it took a month or so for the 4S to be sold unlocked off-contract.

Good question. I recently relocated to London from NYC, and i was hoping to buy an unlocked iphone in the US (take advantage of the exchange rate). But after yesterday I am left with more questions if they will even sell the UK/EU models in US stores unlocked.

Might just have to stick with my HTC One X
