I had my recent IPS LG panel break during an earth quake here, so I need to replace it.

I am interested in the 27" size, 1440p, 4ms and 75hz or above, preferably gsync capable.

I am not a TN panel fan and I don't want to try VN as I have had good experience with IPS. I prefer colors over speed.

Any good recommendations? I would be looking to purchase from bestbuy or amazon.

I was looking for something that was silver/aluminum looking to match my mac pro.

Thanks, so far the only monitor that I have found that ticks all the boxes, besides the color... The Acer Predator Series monitor. I just do not like the way it looks.

I may end up stepping down to two 24" monitors instead.

Well, I went with this monitor.

So far I am happy with the quality of the image. It only does 76hz @ 1440 but with my GTX 1080 that's plenty. If your looking for a no frills monitor that has a good quality image this isn't a bad monitor. I have 2 weeks to see if its what I want in a monitor.

Pros:
Decent refresh rate 76hz
27" Panel, nothing to complain about here
HDR is really nice.

Cons:
Only 2 HDMI ports, the ports are laid out so that you can no use any adapters due to the monitor mount.
No mounting options on this monitor
Tilt only, no height adjustment or much else...
