144hz monitor + MBP 2018

Hello, Guys,



I have a macbook pro 2018 2.6ghz 16gb ram radeon 560X.

I would like to buy an additional ultra wide monitor (LG 34GK950F). I really liked this LG because it is 144hz.. I tried to find information about it but couldn't. Does the macbook support 144hz adapting from usb-c to display port? Otherwise I won't spend so much money for those 144hz..



I saw that this monitor only runs at 144hz with display port.
