Battery Life went from 7 hours to 3 after Mountain Lion

Did a Clean Install of Mountain Lion on my MacBook Pro that was previously running Snow Leopard.

Running just Safari with Flashblock I used to get 7 hours. Now I get 3.

Does it take time to adjust and calibrate? Or is something wrong? Or has Apple yet to fix this confirmed issue?

Updated to 10.8.2? This helped solve the battery issue.

Mine has remained close to constant over: 10.7, 10.8, 10.8.1, 10.8.2...

This is seriously ridiculous. Any solutions?

Activity monitor really only shows Finder taking up CPU as it takes up 9.1%.

My wife is still complaining about her battery life on the MBP. And since she just came from a $325 2008 Dell that's pretty sad.

Note to Apple: Let's keep making these machines razor thin AT ALL COSTS and keep deluding ourselves we can cram more battery life inside them.

I used to get 6 on my brand new 2012 cMBP with 10.8.1. Then updated to 10.8.2 and it went down almost two hours. I get around 4 hours depending on the use. I'm really frustrated cause I got a macbook mainly due to its battery longevity for school.

Are there any solutions? Otherwise I just wasted $20 and am reverting back to Snow Leopard...

10.8.2 and I still get around 5 hours of battery life.
