I'm running 10.3.9

I've managed to change the icons for my home folder, music, pictures, etc.

What I want to know is:
Is there a way to change ALL the default folder icons in one go instead of copying/pasting one at a time?

I think most people uses ShapeShifter or CandyBar. I only change the occasional icon, and I'm more than happy to do this manually...

Yea, but I don't want to fork out for software simply to change some folder icons.

I don't want to change ALL my icons, just the default folder ones.

But thanks for the info...

You will need Candybar for that...

Well, there are ways to change the icons yourself... you can find instructions here.

If you are bold enough to give this a try, then please make sure you back up any files you want to alter. Personally, I'm happy to fork out a little for an app like CandyBar for the peace of mind. It's a very nice bit of software and, in my opinion at least, worth the expense.

Edit: Oops, those instructions are for Tiger. There are Panther instructions here. ;)
