Can I do this?

My iPhone 5 - unlocked has just arrived

I'm going to go with gifgaf, but for now, I want to use it, and I have a normal sim for my cheap oldphone.

Can I cut that one down to site (at my own peril!) and then put it in my iphone unitl my gifgaf one arrives - OR will my phone lock to them? :/

Ah right - I was told that it would lock to a sim - I might get a pay as you go sim until my gifgaf arrives if this one fails.

My friend says he's cut nano sims down before and you don't have to sand them- I thought you did!

There is a thread over on the GiffGaff forums, and from memory you don't need to do any sanding.
