I don't know if everyone noticed, but CodeWeavers are giving away a FREE copy with 12-month support of CrossOver for Mac to everyone who claims it today. So if you haven't already, go to this URL:
http://flock.codeweavers.com
and register.

It may not be perfect and as compatible as virtualization solutions, but it's a very compelling way to launch Windows apps on a Mac and for free, it's a no-brainer me thinks. :)

I outgrew crossover and use wineskin now. Clean, simple, does the same thing. Always free, and seems to have a passionate developer.

What makes Wineskin better in your eyes (other than its price and speedy development)? I'm asking because I have never tried it, only a CrossOver trial some time ago which seemed pretty decent to me. Is it perhaps easier to use and more "seamless"?
