Another, audio DSP-wise excellent player has ended up dropping Dolby (AC-3, E-AC-3 and TrueHD) support: TTplayerHD. This, as has been pointed out in the introduction of my yesterday's article here at MacRumors, renders tons of typical video recordings (for example, direct digital TV recordings in the US or all AVCHD videos) unplayable.
Here's the AppStore update list (Dolby audio dropping annotated by me):

As the other updates are mostly fixes of not very annoying bugs, you can, as usual, just back up the old IPA before updating in order to keep the AC-3 compatibility. And, of course, hope Dolby support will some time be re-introduced to the player. (Which is pretty improbable, at least not without a comparatively expensive in-app purchase, given that Dolby demands quite a lot of money from the developers for their license.)
