What do you think the base storage for each be? I have 13 pro 128gb and if I will sell to get 15, wondering if anyone will buy 128. Should I get 256 for future proof when it comes to future selling?

Your 1 and 2 years from knowing any of this.

Get the storage size you need. Not for when it comes time to sell. It’s not going to be a huge difference

The difference in resale for iPhone 12 Pro 128GB and 256GB on sites such as Swappa, eBay is only about $25-$35 at the moment and thats usually how it is every year so its negligible. If you do a carrier trade in they dont care if it is 64GB or 512GB so you will get the same value. I dont think this should be the deciding factor just get the size that works for you.

This sums my thoughts up nicely. Buy what you need, when you need it. Resale value isn’t going to be dramatically different.

That's very handy information. Thanks a bunch

Right, interesting how there's not much difference except when one buys it, it's $100+ difference

Never buy for yourself what you think the next owner wants.
Like people buy a grey car because they think that is the color the next owner would like. Nuts.

I guess it’s just like most other modern goods, slight variations in spec have only a slight impact when the stuff is depreciating quickly anyway.

It’s exactly how the situation is with diamonds. When you buy them you pay through your nose and the minute it’s out of the showroom, the value of the same item is at least 50% less.
