15" 2.53 vs 2.66 for FCP HD video editing

I am about to buy a video camera and MBP 15" for editing HD video in FCP. Was going to go with the basic 15" 2.53, but having second thoughts, and wondered whether I should go one higher.

While I'm sure the better model will have a very slight improvement in rendering speed, we're talking ~5% faster..not really worth the extra money in my opinion..
