Does anyone have issues on the original HomePod and the latest jem release 15.4.1?

It keeps dropping the connection and say it isn’t connected to the internet. I can see on the router that it is connected.

Rebooting doesn’t help, you have to reset it. I had to reset it twice today to restore its operations and now it just happened again, it says it is offline.

Also, today while listening music on Apple Music the volume was going to zero, the song kept playing, then after 5/10 seconds volume back to normal, all by itself.

I am about to throw it in the bin, seriously.

Anyone experiencing issues?

Thanks

I am running Home Pods with eArc connection to my LG OLED TV. They are now serving as wireless speakers for my TV. This has progressively become slightly better with recent releases.

But many HomePod issues still persist. Playing music on my iPhone, and trying handoff to the HomePod by holding it close, briefly pipes the music through the HomePods, but also turns on the Apple TV and my LG TV.

And when I Ask Siri in my Home Pods to play a specific radio channel, I am met with a long silence, followed by "there is a problem with Apple Music. The work around is to just say "Siri, Play Music" and she plays a station customized for me taste. Then when I repeat my radio channel play request, it succeeds.

HomePod for me is still a mess. I love the sound of the loudspeakers, but their set-up, configuration etc. is maddeningly complex. It took my close to an hour to get them updated to 15.4.1.

It is incomprehensible why consumer products such as HomePods can get so devilishly complex, while the newly released M1 Macs and some of the most reliable, bug free devices I have ever owned.
