15" Early 2008 MBP. The true classic?

This seems to be the model of laptop I have seen in so many adverts, TV shows & films and stock photos when they are trying to depict a stylish home / workplace.

I still think it's the best looking laptop around.

I wonder if Apple regret their current styling?

I owned one, and it kept warping; well the 17" one did at least.

That's maybe because the Aluminium body of the PowerBook and MacBook Pro is around since 2003, thus it had more time to establish itself.
Also the Mac gained quite a momentum since the mid 2000s, so the Aluminium body is quite popular, but the new Unibody model can be seen too, but only in third rated series on TV or some posters at the tube station or train station or wherever the cheap ones go.
And I don't mean Apple ads, I mean ads or television shows or movies not made by Apple.

Yeah, what really makes it a classic is that you can bend the case to eliminate the warp.

The Powerbook's design is classic, by early 2008 its just tired.

Amen...which is why they sort of went back to the design with the Unibodies starting with the Air
