Hey all,

Long story short... BEFORE the update, I ordered a 2.53Ghz C2D w/ a 320GB 7200rpm, because I couldn't wait for the update. Anyway, my order arrived as the update happened, and as a result, I have (very luckily) ended up with the 2.4Ghz i5, although Apple tells me they STILL put the 320GB HDD w/ 7200rpm drive in it (yay!). My question is, how do I check the hard drive's rpm. I looked in System Profiler and Disk Utility, but neither specify the HDD rpm and I just want to double check...

Cheers,
H

Both the System Profiler and Disk Utility will tell you the model number of the hard drive. Take that model number and look online to see the specifications for that particular drive.
