Hey everyone!

So this problem isn't actually with my computer, but my Mother's. She recently got a 15 inch MBP and for the most part things have been going great. She had some problems starting up, which were solved by removing Norton Antivirus (complete uninstall) but now every once in a while, she has problem shutting down.

It only happens after it's been on for a little while, as in if I turn it on and turn it right off, it turns off fine. And when I say turn off, I mean click on the Apple in the upper left, click shut down, etc... She can press the power button on the computer for a few seconds and it will shut down just fine, but for a fairly new computer I don't think that's right.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
