I'm kind of confused.

Keyboard shortcut to sleep, Selecting sleep from menu, or closing the lid, the machine sleeps perfectly, and the sleep light starts to "breathe" and it wakes up fine after.

But it will not automatically sleep with the lid open.

I've went in the energy settings, set it to sleep at 1 minute, doesn't matter on battery, or power, even after a fresh boot it won't sleep on it's own.

I've repaired permissions, reinstalled Snow Leopard ( Not a fresh install, waiting to do that as a last resort ) reset PRAM and SMC... Still same thing... I let it sit all night.

Anything else to try before reinstalling SL fresh install?

New 15" MBP i7 Hi Res Anti Glare.

I gave up on you all... LOL...
After wiping and reinstalling Snow Leopard, everything functions as it should...
