I'm going to be buying a MacBook Pro some time in August-October (I'm tempted to wait for Leopard to be released before I buy) as I'm sick of only having this desktop. Starting medical school seems like a good enough reason to invest in a MBP. Anyhow, I was browsing the cases and sleeves at the Canadian Apple Education Store and came across a few that caught my eye. They are:

  • Incase Nylon Sleeve
  • Incase Neoprene Sleeve
  • Brenthaven Edge II

I'm most likely just going to need a sleeve to protect the laptop in my bag so that my notebooks don't scratch it, but I was thinking about getting either the nylon sleeve or the Edge II for the rare occasion where I will want to travel only with the laptop. Which has the better fit for the MBP? Truthfully though, I probably won't ever be travelling without my bag, so all I need is a sleeve. Unfortunately, I've heard that the neoprene sleeve for the 15 inch MBP isn't a good fit.

What's the best option for protecting my future-MBP?

i have the incase one from the Apple store. it works fine - nothing fancy. i'm happy with it.
