My MacBook Pro 15-inch, Mid 2010 Crashes Randomly

Hi, 2 months ago my MBP crash a lot, working on Adobe Apps, or just browsing the web it crashes and restart, (“Your computer restart because of a problem…”)

I’ve Restarted PRAM, SMC, NVRAM, yesterday I ran the AHT (Apple Hardware Test) it says there’s NO errors. This is not for heat I think just because the fans are working. Also I’ve not made a fresh reinstall yet, but I think that’s not going to solve the problem.

I’m on 10.9.1, and it has 8GB of RAM and a SSD from OWC. I don’t know whats happening here, because I take care a lot of this computer.

if your macbook is under 3 years old, apple will change your logicboard for free (doesn't matter if you have applecare or not). even if it is older they do it for free from time to time.

Hi,

I have the same MBP with the same issue. The only concrete issue, should apple refuse to replace your MacBook, would be to use gfxCardStatus by Cody Krieger. Download and run the application. Then, close all applications that use the GT 330M (they will be listed in the application status bar menu under dependencies). Finally, select (integrated only) to switch to the Intel HD Graphics iGPU. You'll have to do this on every boot.
