Currently a windows user who has been using a Macbook Pro at work and now wants to get one for personal use at home.
My question is, regarding the 15 inch retina macbook pro with 750m, is the processor upgrade a significant boost?
2.5GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.7GHz
2.8GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 4.0GHz [Add $200.00]
I'm not really worried about money if it is a noticeable upgrade, but if not then don't want to be wasteful.
Use cases.
1. I'm a software developer and occasionally need to build code for and simulate devices (android ect)
2. I game when I occasionally get free time and would like to be able to push Diablo 3, StarCraft 2, World of WarCraft, Mass Effect 3, League of Legends level games as high as is reasonable. So not the most recent stuff, but still things that have the ability to scale graphically.
