15 inches in bed

So who uses the 15 incher in bed? Lying down in the prone position. It could be on a long couch either. The 13 inch seems perfect for that type of usage, but of course apple had to ruin my plans of getting arrandale in that form factor. Is the 15 inch screen size too big? Since it will be fairly close to my face.

PS i'm talking about macbooks!
 
no one needs 15" inches if your only gonna be using it in the bedroom and not taking it out anywhere with you on a regular basis.

13" is plenty big and plenty fast for your usage it sounds like.
 
Digging the thread title.... I use my 15 incher in bed all the time, it works out just great. The larger size also is nice when watching movies etc in bed. :)
 
in bed right now with 15'

you will find lying on your side a pita, otherwise its fine
 
Might want to ask the girlfriend, always depends on them. Some like it better bigger and others smaller. Screen estate might make their eyes glow and say "wow" and the 13'' will make them feel a little more comfortable.

I use my 15" in bed. Heck I used to use my 17" in bed. Really, its only two inches. Youve got 14 days to return it. Give it a shot.
 
That's quite big.

I'm Asian, so I usually use a smaller 4" in bed. That usually works out okay. Quite portable.

Oh wait, we're talking about Macs? Yeah the 15-inches of fun works too.

I totally agree. My 17'' works perfectly fine in bed, usually resting on my chest if I'm not sitting upright. I'm using my 17'' right now actually in the living room while watching The Office--in the bed, on the couch, home office, the kitchen, my 17'' goes everywhere with me.

My wife prefers her 13'' though, much easier to carry to the office. But when she comes home, she doesn't complain about my 17''.

Anyone know of any good protection for the 17''? I can't seem to find anything big enough--most of them only fit "up to 15''." I just don't feel safe using this big 'ol thing without protection...
 
Guys I need some advice, I just found out I have a virus on my netbook. Should I tell my girlfriend? Or just hope she doesn't notice?

I'm just worried that she will look never use it the same way again and start shopping for something bigger.
 
Size doesn't always matter. With my wife it's all about the cache. Some women are like that... so of course I went with an i7.
 
What's 15 inches, stiff and makes a woman scream in the morning?





Crib death.... uh, I mean a MacBook Pro.
