Okay so i just noticed that it seems the display on my 15" MBP I bought last July is starting to go on me.
There is a nice black line at the top going through the toolbar. So my question is: When I purchased my macbook pro I also got apple care with it. Am i covered? will they fix my MPB, give me a refurb, or give me the newer model? I wonder about them giving me a newer model because I hear about people bringing in cracked iphones and giving them a brand new one instead of repairing it.
Thanks in advance :)

Unless you dropped it or caused the damage yourself you will be covered under the warranty. They will likely replace the screen or video card or whatever is causing the problem but you will not get a new machine - especially if this is your first problem.

Make an appointment with the genius bar and take it in. They should take care of you.
