Hey, My Macbook Pro battery will not hold a charge. at around 80% battery life, the computer just shuts down with no warning at all. since my MBP is out of warranty, I was wondering if they cover the battery up to 300 charge cycles,(mine is at 213 cycles) cause that is what i have been reading. Id just like to know if that's true or not.
Thanks!!

They probably won't cover it. The 300 cycles guideline is used to determine if the battery is defective, but since it's been such a long time, they probably won't treat it as defective.
