Hi all,

I have a unibody 15" MacBook Pro that I bought around two years ago. Since a couple days ago, it starts shutting down randomly. It seems like it's whenever I make a sudden movement (not that sudden), but I disabled the Sudden Motion Sensor and it still happened. However, it doesn't shut down everytime I make a sudden movement. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Alright, tried resetting the SMC, but it still has the same problem. Any other ideas? :)

My macbook pro has started shutting down randomly also. I used to have this problem with my battery. turned out the battery was bad. Now I'm having this problem when my computer is plugged into AC. Seems like something power related inside has a loose connection. Anybody else ever seen anything like this?

Fyi i'm on a 2007 era aluminum 2.2ghz macbook pro 3,1

Does it make a difference whether it is on battery power vs wall outlet?
