No validity at all but as it's a christian website it is utterly untrustworthy on any front IMHO.

It is looking unlikely there will be any more macbook airs if you ask me, a 14 inch retina macbook, now that may become reality....

Ahh, ok. Do you think a refresh will happen before the new year?
 
Who knows???? you might get a retina macbook refresh around christmas but I don't think so, the chips for the airs are out but there is no sign of any activity there (not that I expect it), and the retina macbook pro's won't even have the chips available until feb - april next year.

Interesting. For the rMBP you think it will just be a port/cpu upgrade?
 
A lightweight single-port laptop is meant for simple tasks; a big screen doesn't really make sense or seem necessary to me...

Be sure to look at the similar threads suggestions on the bottom of the page, the one from 2009 shows people dreaming about a 1440x900 15" screen... We have 2880x1800 now, nice improvements I'd say. Makes you feel like whatever we have available now isn't so bad after all.
