Hi guys,

i've been reading posts on this forum since i got my first mac 4 years ago but never felt the need to write anything cos it seemed to be going well. wellll... up to now,
I just got my new MBP last week and haven't installed lots atm. 2 Days ago i installed the trial version of Adobe's Photoshop, Aftereffects and Premier pro, and since then it seems that any video i want to play fullscreen on the net freezes. Coud it be that the flashplayer that installs with the programms messes my inet video up? i uninstalled it with app delete and restarted and everyhting but my video still doesn't want to go fullscreen. it just freezes and the sound goes on. as soon as i go back to normal view it works fine.

any help would be much appreciated.

cheers

Getting closer to the source of the problem

Ok, after looking into it a bit more i figured it has got smth to do with flash player. Every video seems to be working fine in fullscreen mode in Safari but not in firefox. I looked up adobe and firefox help and it suggests to open the settings of the video and to uncheck hardware acceleration to solve the problem. If i do so in the effected videos it doesn't let me click anything and the dialogue box doesn't even close. Nevertheless i am able to play stupid little flash games and can click about in their settings.... wtf?

I am contemplating to delete falsh all together and may be install it again but then i think, THIS IS A FRICKIN NEW MACHINE, ITS SUPPOSED TO WORK! (rant over)

anyways, aany help would be greatly appreciated. if this is the wrong forum after all i apologise.

cheers

i would just delete firefox and use safari. i've used firefox for about 6 years and after using safari for the 1st time, i just uninstalled firefox soon after i had installed it :p. but anyways, yeah i would try reinstalling flash.
