Hi there,
I'm still using an early 2011 15" MBP with the AMD 6750M / 1GB. It's connected to a 1920x1200 24" Eizo S2411 display from 2007 (?) and running in closed-clamshell mode most of the time. Or I am on the go and use the built-in display only.
So far, I haven't had any signs of the well-known GPU problems -yay.
I'm thinking about upgrading to a 27" screen with a 2560x1440 resolution, connected via DP.
Do I have enough HP / VRAM to power a 27" screen?
I assume this will stress the CPU/GPU more than a 24" screen. So it might be smarter to keep the 24".
I mostly use it for web surfing, watching 720p videos, office work, programming/python, and occasionally image editing. No games.
Thanks for any comments!
