15" MBP Core i5 Refurb... When and How Much?

Hello All,

I realize that any response to this is pure conjecture, but I have my eyes on the current i5 15" 2.4, but I prefer to get a refurb.

Does anyone know what is typical for timing as far as new products showing up in the refurb store, and what kind of a discount could reasonably be expected?

Also, is it likely that any hi-res versions would show up in the refurb store?

I haven't quite found any similar threads in my MRoogling attempts, so my apologies if this has been discussed before.

no one know when they will start to appear but they usually start at about 15% less of brand new purchase price

Thanks, iSpoody. I sure hope you're right and that they show up soon. With the freezing problems, and past problems with my last Mac, I would prefer to go with a refurb that has been individually inspected and that is 15% off rather than a brand new one. I'm starting to get impatient is all.
