- sits on desk all the time, never leaves house/office?
I think you should change the last choice to only sit at desk all the time. Moving your laptop around the house is using it's portability. A desktop replacement laptop is like a true desktop and it never really leaves the desk.

The other option is to add two last choices such as:

- sits on desk all the time
- use it around the house as a portable but never/rarely leaves house

Unless you are trying to find out how many people use it outside of their homes? I take my laptop outside of the house, to work, etc, but I also love how I can sit on the couch or other parts of the house and still use the computer instead of only at my desk.

I answered 75 / 25. My MBP leaves our house maybe once in two weeks but I rarely use it on a desk - it's "travelling" around the house nearly all the time.

I use my MBP in throughout the semester while in lecture and around campus. Most of the other time it is on a desk. Occasionally I will use it while I'm on a couch.

I'm sitting on my bed with mine right now, watching tele.

Depends on your definitions - travel implies I take it out of my house, rather than just moving it around my house.

I take it to University everyday too.

I travel 3 weeks a month for work and I make sure to bring it along with my work laptop. I am slowly trying to move everything I need for work to it since I can stop using this crappy Windows/HP.

Use at home for design work and my personal stuff. Travels with me every day to work for the important stuff

More people travel with their 15" MBP than I expected, going by the Poll, interesting.

It's not like it's a particularly big or heavy computer compared to it's PC counterparts. Those that say it's too heavy to carry around need to hit the gym, or take a crap before their work day.
