Hey. Just registered for this post.

I ordered a brand spankin' new 15" MBP (yay! now ship damnit...) and am looking for a messenger-style bag for it.

However, I'm kinda picky on what I want. I want a small bag - I only ever carry the laptop, the power adapter, maybe a display port adapter, and a couple of papers (usually 5 or 6 pages).

So. Here's what I've seen.

I like this simply because its small, but I have my doubts on whether its a nice case. I'd love to see this one in person, so we'll see.

WAAY too big. I hope my point is made ;)

SO, I'm looking for ideas. Maybe links?

Not looking to spend more than $100 but for an exceptional case I would have no problem spending more.

Thanks for the help!!

I had the nylon incase bag for my MacBook before I got a MBP. The build quality was nice, but I didnt think it was large enough. The pockets on the front are much smaller than the pictures depict. The charger alone took up an entire pocket.

I have a Booq bag, but that is probably too big for your taste.

I have a BBP Hampton bag and its great. My MBP fits perfectly and is pretty well protected, and there are a lot of other cool features on the bag. Tons of pockets, you can convert it to a low sitting back pack if your bag is heavy (I find myself using it like this mostly), and a zipper that unzips and lets you put it on top of the pulling part of luggage. Oh, and most of it (I know the laptop zippered off part is) is water resistant.

I have the tan one, and its sweet.

As Bobeder9 mentioned, Booq also makes some great bags, but they're a little more pricey. Super-solid stuff though, all ballistic nylon.

You need to be very careful with these "small" bags that fit the previous MacBook Pro snugly. The new MBP has a much larger footprint, about a quarter-inch more in each direction. I have a great snug bag for my "Early 2008" MBP, and a new one will not fit into it. :(

I have the Timbuk2 Outtawhack messenger bag and I L O V E it!

The quality is absolutely great, it protects the laptop well, the blue color is pretty plus I got it for a bargain at the REI Outlet!

Highly Recommended! Oh, and I don't work for them :D

hello..

I'm looking to buy a backpack for my new MBP.

What do you guys think about this one? Will the new MBp fit nicely into this bag?

Thanks.:)
