15" MBP Sleeve vs Hard Shell Case

What do most of you recommend?

Looking for something to keep my MBP in while I carry it around in my backpack. Been thinking about a hard shell case, but not sure if I want to add anything on my MBP. Sleeve looks nice and convenient but not sure how much extra protection it will offer.
