It may just be me, but does anyone else's MBP suffer from VERY low volume from your built-in speakers?
When I say this I mean, when it's at half it's still very quiet, and when lower it sounds as if there shouldn't be any sound at all..

Gav.

i sometimes get that feeling too, but IMO it primarily depends on the environment that your in. for example if your in your room with the windows down or whatever the speakers may sound as loud as they should be. or if you're outside or in a place where theres alot of ambient noise then your speakers will sound like if they are lower than they should be.

I have this same issue with my 15" MBP. To increase the volume, I use external speakers.

Another way though, and what I did before using external speakers, played everything (movies, etc.) through VLC, where I could increase the volume to 400%.

You can do that with itunes also, look where the eq is.
