15" MBP stuck in restart loop (FIXED!)

I shut my computer down last night and now it shows the apple icon and the spike wheel and then just restarts 30 seconds later.

I already tried doing a file system repair but found nothing wrong.

If i do an archive and install can i use the migration wizard to bring it back to the way it was?

help please! im stuck... oh yeah im running 10.5.8

FIX: ended up being the permissions and the PRAM needed to be flashed.. good to go!
