hey guys i just recently purchased a 15" macbook pro and was wondering if i could upgrade to a 17" without paying a restocking fee? its been 10 days and i also bought apple care. if i upgrade will i be able to transfer my applecare also?

There will be a restocking fee. . . once a product is opened and has to be returned, it's now considered a refurbished model.

So they would have to try to re-sale it which equals your restocking fee. And yes your apple care will switch over if you still want to upgrade.

I have heard of people going in and talking to the manager cordially, about switching. State your reason, ie bigger screen, and I have heard they will do it without the fee. You are upgrading to a more expensive model.

The worst they can say is no.
