Hi,
I have:
- a MacBook Pro 2011 15" with the known GPU problem, but with a pristine bottom casing (= the part with the trackpad and keyboard in it);
- a MacBook Pro 2012 15" that works flawlessly, but with a (heavily) damaged bottom casing;
Would it be possible to 'transplant' the insides of the 2012 MBP to the casing of the 2011 MBP?
I also would like to keep the 2012 display (high-res, anti-glare).
Both models share the same model nr A1286.
I have a lot of patience (I know it will take some hours to do the switch...).
